Restaraunt Review: Mour cafe

Nestled in the South Shore District of Austin, Texas off of Riverside, Mour Cafe delivers sophisticated dishes for an affordable price. Though small, Mour Cafe makes room for a bar, indoor dining, an outside patio, and a small grocery area where you can buy wine and more.

For brunch the table ordered the seasonal Watermelon Salad, Duck Carnitas Taco, and Pork Belly Fried Rice. The Watermelon Salad was a tasty surprise. The grilled watermelon melted in your mouth and paired perfectly with the spring mix and balsamic glaze. The duck carnitas taco is heavy but flavor packed. Though I enjoyed the other offerings the pork belly fried rice remains my go to at Mour. As far as drinks go the Mimosa is a brunch staple. They arrive at your table in a large wine glass with ice made out of orange juice. The more the ice melts, the tastier your mimosa becomes.

Favorite menu items include: Duck Carnitas Taco, Pork Belly, Truffle Fries, Mimosa
